The RFID Education Foundation is a supporter of ICORE, the International Council on RFID Education.

ICORE is a global organization comprised of academics and end-users from industry and government whose mission is to oversee the development of RFID education, training & certification standards, globally and across all industries.

Activities within ICORE include:

1. Manage the Standards Development Process

2. Maintain the RFID Education Reference Model

3. Publish the RFID Work Standards Model

4. Define Core & Specialty Competencies

5. Establish Certified RFID Practitioner Program

6. Oversee RFIDba Certification Testing Services
